Frambors 2.0

Frambors 2.0 is conceived as a community web portal for Framingham residents and those who care about Framingham’s past, present and future.  It is an information dashboard as well as a discussion forum and commerce hub.

The intent is to make this forum completely OPEN TO ALL.  There will be no moderating and all opinions, however repugnant, will be allowed.  No anonymous posting will be allowed however.  You must “own” your opinions.

It is meant to provide an unmoderated and upgraded alternative to the current systems of discussion that are on frambors.syslang.net and framcom.syslang.net (otherwise known as frambors and framcom).  Please note, however, that this site (Frambors.com) and this portal (affectionately named Frambors 2.0) has NO AFFILIATION WITH THE SYSLANG SITES OR STEVE ORR.

Create private or public groups, join groups, discuss issues of concern, invite friends and neighbors to join, create wiki pages in your groups, post classifieds, add to the links, and much more.

Please review and test the functionality and usefulness and comment freely.

REMEMBER, THE SITE IS STILL IN BETA SO IT MAY NOT BE PERFECT.  IF SOMETHING DOESN’T WORK QUITE RIGHT, PLEASE LET ME KNOW SO I CAN TRY TO FIX IT.

This systems is built on a wordpress/buddypress system.  I am no coder, I’m a lawyer, so I can only deal with plugins and themes and stuff.  If you want some functionality or something doesn’t work properly, I will do my best.

If you know someone who is a coding whiz and willing to help, fantastic.

I have created a Beta Group.  After you sign up for membership, click on the Groups Tab and request membership to the Beta Group.
